The album has been self-produced by PiL and is recorded over several shows on the summer 2025 tour.

Lovingly produced, the cover and inner cover of Alive feature original artwork by John Lydon, with an extended, triple vinyl version featuring extra tracks, and with a number of sets being signed personally by the four band members, on record plates.

Strictly limited edition Alive is available on CD and also as 2 LP & 3 LP versions together with different bundles featuring coloured vinyl variations and extras such as art prints and tote bags.
